He attended the School of Architecture at Howard University in Washington, District of Columbia He first studied acting at the age of twelve. Carson studied acting with Bernard Rachelle at Lincoln Center in New York as well as Stephanie Feury in Los Los Angeles
Career
Lionel played semi-professional football as a wide receiver. Carson starred in the film Pawn alongside veteran film and television actor William Russian in 2009. Pawn became an official selection the 2009 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Some of Lionel"s more notable appearances on television were on The West Wing, Samantha Who, Desperate Housewives, and the soap opera Loving.
