Career
She co-founded Stonewall and subsequently was the policy director of the Terrence Higgins Trust. Before this, she was Secretary-General of the International Lesbian & Gay Association, co-founded The Pink Paper and wrote an oral history of the London Gay Liberation Front, "Number Bath But Plenty Of Bubbles", now long out of print.
