Liu Ying

Career

She played three matches including the final. She played with the 1999 Fédération internationale de football association Women"s World Cup team that lost to the United States in the final. The match went to penalties, and she was the only player on either side to miss her chance, as her kick was saved by Briana Scurry.

She played all three matches.

Achievements

• In 1996 she won the silver medal with the Chinese team The United States. ultimately won the shoot-out 5–4.

Membership

One year later she was a member of the Chinese team which finished fifth in the women"s tournament.
