Liudmila Ivanenko is a Belarusian physicist whose research has focused on the electronic, transport, magnetic, and thermoelectric properties of semiconducting silicides. She worked at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and contributed to research on ruthenium, iron, and other semiconductor silicide materials.
Education
Ivanenko studied at the Belarusian State University, where she completed a Doctor of Science degree between 1987 and 1992. Her academic development was closely connected with solid-state physics, semiconductor materials, and the investigation of electronic and transport properties in silicide-based materials.
Career
Ivanenko began her professional research career at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, where she worked as a researcher from 1989 to 2002. She then served as a leading researcher from 2002 to 2011. Her scientific work examined semiconductor materials and their electronic, magnetic, transport, and thermoelectric behavior, including studies of ruthenium silicide, iron silicides, charge-carrier mobility, resistivity, Hall effects, Seebeck coefficients, and thermal conductivity. She was also associated with the Nanoelectronics and Novel Materials project as a project manager. Her research involved collaboration with scientists from Belarusian and German materials-science institutions.
