Trained as a ballerina. Was discovered by Sergei Bondarchiuk and offered the role of Natasha in War and Peace. Spent 6 years making this film.
Became nationally and internationally known.
Vittorio de Sica invited her to come to Italy to play in his film The Sunflowers, 1971. Other films: The Seagull, 1971, The Flight, 1971, and The Headless Horseman, 1973 (opposite Oleg Vidov).
