Trpeski, Ljube was born on August 3, 1947 in Velmej, Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. Son of Risto and Ruska (Nikoleska) Trpeski.

Education

Graduate, Faculty of Economics, Skopje, 1970. Master of Science in International Political and Economic Relations, Florida State University, Tallahassee, 1976. Doctor in Economic Sciences, Kiril i Metodi University, Skopje, 1980.

Career

From assistant lecturer to associate professor Faculty of Economics, Skopje, since 1971. Deputy governor National Bank of Republic of Macedonia, 1987-1991. Minister without portfolio Government of Republic of Macedonia, 1992-1995, vi.p., 1996.

Governor National Bank of the Republic of Maceconia, since 1997. Visiting professor Chico (California) State University, 1982-1983.
