Lloyd Adams

Education

Adams obtained a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University.

Career

He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and also has a Masters Degree in Business Management from the National University. Adams is an adjunct professor of Business and Law for Southern New Hampshire University, and also previously taught at Westwood College and Sierra Nevada College. He was formerly the senior executive in charge of Programming and Production, and the Executive Producer for the Outdoor Channel.

Adams helped launch Fuel television, and served as its Executive Producer and Senior Consultant at the launch.

He was the Executive Producer for Pro Elite, who"s Mobile Marketing Association events appeared on Showtime, Columbia Broadcasting System and HD Net. Adams was the executive producer and co-creator of Scouting for Adventure, which was the Boy Scouts of America"s first television series.

He was also appointed to executive produce another television show for them titled Scouting Around. These companies are independent executive production houses.

Saving Heroes on American Heroes Channel - Executive Producer and directed several episodes.

Achievements

• Adams was part of a team which was nominated in 2014 for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for Six Hours, a documentary on Typhoon Yolanda.

Membership

Adams is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Science. He is also a member of the American Film Institute and served on the Board of Directors at the Tahoe-Reno International Film Festival as the head coordinator in charge of the adventure film categories. Adams is a member of the American Bar Association.
