Lloyd Raymond Cardwell was an American football player and coach.
Career
He played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and professionally for the Detroit Lions for seven seasons.
Achievements
After his playing days, Cardwell coached the track & field and football (1947-1959) teams at Omaha University (the precursor to the University of Nebraska-Omaha) including the undefeated 1954 season team that also won the Tangerine Bowl.
