Career
In 1916, she and her accompanist, Howard Brockway, traveled for six weeks in the Cumberland Mountains collecting folk songs. They published these in two collections:
Lonesome Tunes: Folk Songs from the Kentucky Mountains (1916, New York)
Twenty Kentucky Mountain Songs (1920, Boston)
Wyman also collected songs in Percé, Quebec, which she documented in an article in the Journal of American Folklore.
