Contested North-west Norfolk, 18S5. Elected for same constituency by a majority of twenty votes, 18S6. Defeated, 1892; Lieutenant-Colonel Derbyshire Yeomanry.

Honourable Colonel 4th Battalion Border Regiment.

Major Yeomanry Cavalry. London County Council (M. R.) Marylebone West, since 1907. Member of Parliament South Nottingham, 1895-1906, and since 1910.

Served in South Africa. 1900; half-brother of present Duke of Portland.
