Student Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, O. Bachelor of Arts, Northwestern University, 1872, Master of Arts, 1874.

Career

Admitted to Illinois bar, 1874, and began practice at Chicago. Appointed judge Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, December 1884. Elected to same office, 1885, reelected, 1891.

Resigned, 1893, and resumed practice as member Collins, Goodrich, Darrow & Vincent. Member Collins & Fletcher, 1895-1905. Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Canal Zone, 1905-1911.

Admitted to practice in New Mexico, 1912, and resided and practiced there until 1922. Returned to Chicago and employed in special cases only.
