Career
She began acting with the Birmingham Youth Theatre. Her parents are of black African descent. She is best known for her role as Mrs Tembe on the British Broadcasting Corporation soap opera, Doctors, a regular character she has played from January 2011 to February 2016.
She is also well known for her years spent presenting British Broadcasting Corporation Children"s show, Tikkabilla.
She plays the much-loved character Mission Smiley in the Children"s British Broadcasting Corporation series "Grandpa in My Pocket".
