He began his career in Washington, D. C., in the office of Harry Vaughan, where he worked on the plans being prepared for the Washington Cathedral.
Later Mr. Jackson returned to Boston, and for a number of years was associated with the firm of Parker, Thomas & Rice. In a subsequent period (1919-24) he was associated with Guy Lowell on a number of the latter’s outstanding buildings, the New York Court House, buildings at the Phillips Academy and other works. Since 1924 he maintained an independent practice.
