Louis M. Parker
Louis M. Parker is an American research lawyer. He specializes in the fields of civil trial and appellate litigation consulting, research and drafting of motions, briefs, memoranda, and arbitration (administrative hearings).
Education
Louis M. Parker received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in 1961. It was followed by a Master of Science degree a year later. From 1962 to 1963, Parker did postgraduate studies at Harvard University. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Willamette University.
Career
Louis M. Parker began to serve in the United States Army in 1962. He advanced through grades from second in command lieutenant to major. He was admitted to the Oregon State bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon in 1965.
From 1965 to 1969, he was a military lawyer of the Judge Advocate General of the United States Army, United States and Germany. He then served as a military judge for a couple of following years. In 1971, he was honorary discharged.
From that same year to 1972, Parker was an assistant regional counsel at Burlington Northern Inc., Portland, Oregon. From 1971 to 1980, he owned and served as a manager at Printery-at-Vail (Colorado), Ltd. From 1981 to 1983, he was an owner and manager at Small World Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1982, he became an administrative law judge at Arizona Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, Phoenix serving in that capacity till 1983. That same year, Parker was also an administrative director at McLune, Theobald & Galbut Professional Corporation. From 1984 to 1985, he was a vice president and general counsel, Franchise Brokerage Superior vena cava syndrome, Mesa, Arizona.
Louis M. Parker has had a private practice as a research attorney in Phoenix since 1985 and commercial and securities arbitrator at the American Arbitration Association since 1987.
From 1989 to 1995, Parker was a hearing officer at Arizona Department Environmental Quality, Phoenix. He has also worled in the National Association of Securities Dealers, United States District Court.
Louis M. Parker was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Arizona in 1991 and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1994.
