Louise Klein Miller, American landscape architect. Awarded degree of Doctor of Indian Philosophy.


Miller, Louise Klein was born on August 7, 1854 in near Centerville, Ohio, United States. Daughter of William and Ann (Cline) Miller.


Graduate High school and Dayton Normal School. Graduate Cook County Normal School, Chicago, 1893. Studied agr.


Began as teacher, Dayton. Was supervisor nature study, E. Saginaw, Michigan, and Detroit. Teacher School of Agriculture and Horticulture, Briar Cliff, New York.

Dean Lowthorpe Society of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening for Women, Groton, Massachusetts. Curator of school gardens, Cleveland, March 1904, also Memorial Garden. Was landscape architect Board of Education, Cleveland, now at Blossom Hill School.
