( Tracey Wilson's life has not been the same since Omar e...)
Tracey Wilson's life has not been the same since Omar escaped from his vampire community and "adopted" her as his protector. Now news has come through the Feline Underground Network that the vampires want Omar back--and fast! So far, Tracey has been able to outwit Norman--the vegetarian vampire who is trying to recapture Omar. But Tracey thinks she has come up with the perfect plan to outsmart Norman once and for all. There's just one teensy, tiny, little problem: Norman needs a human hostage to re-enter the vampire community. Tracey's plan had better work, otherwise she'll end up as a vampire cocktail!

( Fifth-grader Tracey Wilson is nervous. It's been a whil...)
Fifth-grader Tracey Wilson is nervous. It's been a while since she's spotted Norman the vampire poking around looking for her cat, Omar. Tracey adopted Omar when he escaped from the vampire community. And Norman has been not on their--er--tails ever since. Omar has amazing powers, like being able to talk and change into other animal forms. Unfortunately, the vampires need Omar. Bad. It's Norman's job to bring Omar and Tracey back to the village. But Tracey hasn't seen Norman in weeks. What could he be up to? She finds out soon enough when Omar is mistaken for an exotic rare animal and locked up at the local university. What a mix-up! But things get really hairy when a famous European professor shows up to study the "Wonder Cat". A professor who looks a lot like Norman.

( Ever since Omar's escape from the vampire village thing...)
Ever since Omar's escape from the vampire village things haven't been the same. In fact, without the cat's secret powers the village is in shambles. They must get Omar back! But how? Norman--the vegetarian vampire--has tried several times already to bring Omar back, and failed. That's because Omar has been helped by his adoptive owner, fifth-grader Tracey Wilson. But the vampire are despurrate. Kabil--the head vampire--has decided to send in reinforcements: Frodina. This time they will not fail!
