Career
In 1970 works at the Venice Biennale, he is commissioner in 1982. Commissioner of the Rome Quadriennale in 1993. His academic career takes place over a period of fifty years, in the role of rector of the Accademia Albertina of Turin, in the academic year 1976/77, vice-rector of the Brera Academy from "79 to 82, professor of History of Modern Art at the University of Lecce, and has been a professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan and at the University of Brescia until 2008.
He is a specialist in contemporary context, Lucio Fontana, Manlio Rho, Metardo Rosso, and Abstractionists Comaschi, of Programmed Art, Kinetic and futuristic architecture.
Within the modern he is specialist of Girolamo Borsieri and for the collections of Federico Borromeo.
