Career
Esposito started playing professional football in 1985 with Football Club Lucerne. In 1988, he signed for Football Club Basel. In August 1989, he signed for Air Corps Bellinzona where he played for five years.
He then signed for South Carolina Kriens in 1994 before joining Football Club Aarau in 1998.
Zug 94 acquired his services in 2000 and he retired in 2002. He came out of retirement in 2004 and played for Kickers Luzern for two years.
