Development of use of traveling wave tube based amplifier to enhance the performance of electron cyclotron resonance ion sources and of the related effects on the generated particle beam. Research in microwave coupling structures for microwave and Early Career Researchers ion sources.

    Discovery of emittance minimization by means of gas addition in high-intensity microwave ion sources.
