Career
Born in Fornos de Algodres, Guarda District, Luisinho played lower league football until the age of 23. He joined Académico de Viseu Football Club in December 2010, and helped it promote from the fourth division to the second in his first two full seasons, scoring eight goals in the process. His maiden appearance in the second level occurred on 10 August, as he came on as a second-half substitute in a 0–2 loss at Moreirense Football Club.
