Career

Born in Potosi, Missouri, Casey was ordained a priest for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis on April 7, 1962. On November 3, 1984, Casey was appointed titular bishop of Mirbiarca and auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Louisiana Paz, Bolivia and was consecrated bishop on January 28, 1984. On January 18, 1988, Casey was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Pando and retired on February 2, 2013.
