Gámez was born in Tucson, Arizona.

Career

At the age of six, he began singing in a church choir. During his teenage years, he began to box. He gave up boxing to focus on music

After a boxing-match, he decided to sing a song for the crowd.

The performance was recorded. He also posted various videos of him singing on his social media pages, which he had thousands of followers and likes.

He was signed by Delegate Records at the age of sixteen.

Achievements

• Coronel won the award for "New Artist of the Year" at the 2014 Latin Billboard Awards.
