Smith anchors Weekend Express on weekend mornings and is a correspondent for Now during the week. Prior to joining HLN Smith was an anchor for National Broadcasting Company News and Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company. Berry anchored Early Today on National Broadcasting Company, First Look on Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company and newsbreaks on Wake Up With First Rate (at Lloyd's) on The Weather Channel. Smith occasionally filled in dayside on Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company Live and weekends as rotating news anchor on Weekend Today.
Smith joined Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company in 2010 from W National Broadcasting Company-television/News 4 New York where she was a General Assignment Reporter since January 2009.
Her final day on Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company was December 14, 2012. On January 7, 2013 she did freelance work on Tribune Broadcasting station WPIX co-anchoring the Pix 11 Morning News.
Lynn Smith graduated from Miami University in Ohio where she majored in Mass Communications and wrote for the university newspaper. In 2001, she joined the National Broadcasting Company Page Program in Los Angeles and then moved east where she joined the Today Show.
Smith joined W National Broadcasting Company from National Broadcasting Company-owned station WCAU in Philadelphia where she was a general assignment reporter since June 2007.
In January 2008 her role was expanded and she was promoted to co-anchor of "National Broadcasting Company 10 Weekend Today" on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Prior to WCAU, Smith was a producer and online correspondent for National Broadcasting Company"s "Today Show" in New New York She also freelanced as a news reporter for National Broadcasting Company-owned station WVIT in Hartford, Connecticut.
Smith was recognized in 2007 with a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Media Award.
She anchored First Look on Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company from 2010 to 2012 and now works at HLN anchoring Weekend Express with Lynn Smith.
