State Bar of Georgia. The founding partners, Lynn A. Downey and the late Robert H. Cleveland, began their practice in insurance defense at two major firms in Atlanta in 1963.
They both subsequently moved their practices to Marietta, and the firm was established at its present location in 1973.
Its offices are located in a renovated historic home in downtown Marietta. Since the firm"s founding, it has been committed to providing its clients with the highest quality of legal representation. During the years the firm has been in existence, it has represented numerous insurance companies, banks, corporations and municipalities.
Currently, the firm"s primary area of practice is in civil litigation including insurance defense in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury claims and bad faith suits.
The collective trial and appellate experience of the attorneys in and associated with the firm exceeds 1,000 cases. In addition to the trial practice described above, the firm also maintains a general civil practice representing small corporations and individuals.
