Career
Worked at Davis and Young Company, L.P.A. (Cleveland, Ohio) specializing in General Trial and Appellate Practice. Products Liability, Toxic Torts and Environmental Law. Automobile, Medical Legal, Personal Injury, Insurance, Corporate and Contract Litigation.
Admitted to the bar, 1984, Ohio. Member: Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations. Classmates from Western Reserve University Law School, Rees Davis, Sr. and Fred Young, with Clare Vrooman, founded the firm of Davis, Young and Vrooman in 1922.
In the early years, the firm engaged in extensive trial work in state and federal courts for insurance companies. The firm served as government-appointed counsel for the Guardian Trust Bank and the liquidation of fourteen savings and loan associations during the Depression. With the passing of Clare Vrooman, the firm shortened its name to Davis and Young.
