In her youth began to write and take an activepart in Ukraine national movement. Joined group of writers centered around Lesya Ukrainka. Influenced by Populism and Modernism.
Embodied ideals of Ukraine national liberation movement in her work. Translated for lit works into Ukraine. 1930 sentenced to death in Khar’kov in trial of Ukraine Liberation League.
Sentence commuted to eight years’ exile.
