M. L. Bhatia was born on December 30, 1896 in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan.

Career

Dr. M. L. Bhatia was a specialist and has done research in Morphology. Also worked as reader in Zoology in Lucknow University. Retired as Dean, Faculty of Science and Professor and Head of Zoology Department, Delhi University. Toured Western Europe.

He published about 50 articles and research papers, also was an editor ("Memories on Indian Animal types").
