At the beginning of the artistic career, Serwatka-Kopacewicz produced several paintings about war, consumerism and nature. Later on, she started to incorporate surreal motives and voyages that one could connect with polish science-fiction.
Małgorzata Serwatka-Kopacewicz spent more than 15 years working as a head of Fabryka Sztuki [Factory of Art], an association in which she organized a great number of performances in close relation with Warsaw suburbia, life-enhancing art life of that region. From 2003 till 2007 she worked as a curator of the Gallery promotion of Authors and starting from 2007 she has curating the K87 Gallery in Milanowek.
Serwatka-Kopacewicz participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom. Among the most prominent shows were those held at the Warsaw Aquarium Club in 1987; Gallery Ostrołęka and Studio Kineo in 1991; Club Der Polnischen Versager, Berlin, in 2005; Gallery Kadr, Warsaw, in 2007; Museum Erotyki, Warsaw, in 2011; etc.
