Admitted to New York bar, 1903. Teacher, Mary Haskell’s School, Boston, 1904, 05. Practiced law in New York 4 years.

Prepared Children’s Court exhibit for Child Welfare Exhibit, New York, 1909.

Appointed secretary Children’s Court Committee of Russell Sage Foundation. Appointed member Prison Reform communications of New York, 1913.

Voluntarily spent one week in prison to investigate conditions and make report. Went to Europe, 1915, 16, 18, 19, twice traveling through England, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden, Russia, Austria Hungary and contributor articles on warring countries of Europe to English and American newspapers and magazines

Secretary Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, Geneva, 1925-1927, editor “Pax,” organ of the League, since 1925.
