She released her debut album, Vignette, in September 2014. The Florida native has always been inspired by pure melodies and lyrics, finding inspiration in classic literature from authors like Shakespeare, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Edgar Allan Poe. She began writing songs at the age of nine and began commuting to Nashville and New York at the age of 13 for meetings and co-writes.
Chapman and her family relocated to Nashville in 2012 when she started working with Beth Laird, Company-Owner and General Manager at Creative Nation.
Chapman signed with Creative Nation in 2013, joining a roster that includes Native Run, Luke Laird, Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby, and Steve Moakler. Her debut European Parliament, Maggie Chapman, was released in February 2014.
The European Parliament was featured on Rolling Stone and United States of America Today with both Teen Vogue and Kings of A&R noting her as a new artist to watch. She released her first full-length album, Vignette, on September 16, 2014 with prayers for her music by national outlets including American Songwriter, Esquire, Idolator, and Just Jared Junior.
Maggie wrote or co-wrote all ten tracks on the album, which was produced by Grammy-Award winning producer Luke Laird.
Chapman has shared the stage with artists such as Tyler Hilton and opened for Meghan Trainor on the Nashville stop of her "That Bass Tour.".
