Achievements include development of highly selective adenosine receptor antagonists which are used as effective probes in studying the nature of this class of receptors. Designed and developed a wide range of heterocycles which show cardiac stimulant, behavioral stimulant and tracheal stimulant activities.
Contributed significantly in the development and harmonization of Organization of European Cooperation and Development environmental fate guidelines for environmental fate studies for pesticides which are required by international regulatory agencies for the registration of pesticides.
