Maki Pulido became a household name when the whole nation watched her run across Malacaňang (the official residence of the Presidential Family) to her camera crew, keen on delivering the exclusive update on the Estrada family behind Palace gates. Pulido is one of the 2014 Winter Olympics being held in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia shortly before the Florida bus crash on February 7, 2014 near Bontoc in Mountain Province, Philippines that killed all 14 occupants on board included the comedian and actor Arvin "Tado" Jimenez.
Pulido’s zeal for reporting has won her both local and international acclaim.
