Makita Kogure graduated from Agriculture Department oi Kyushu University (1925).
Career
Makita Kogure became assistant at Kyusnu University, assistant engineer for agriculture and forestry of Nagano Prefecture, professor of Tokyo Higher Sericultural School (1933), director of Nagano Prefectural Sericulture Station and director of Tokyo College of Fiber Industry and thereafter was appointed dean of Fiber Science Department of Tokyo Tjmversity of Agriculture and Industry. Assumed additional posts of member of Japan Science Council and vice-president of Japan Sericultural Association.
