Education
Graduated from Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts (1922). Proceeded to France for further training.
Career
Returning home came into prominence when his works were exhibited at Imperial Arts Exhibition. Later helped in founding the Shinseisaku (New Creative Art) Association. Taught as professor at Tama Academy of Fine Arts.
