She teaches English at Delhi University under the name Manjul Kapur Dalmia. in 1972 from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and an M. Philosophy from Delhi University. 2011: Distinguished Service Cross Prize for South Asian Literature, short-list, The Immigrant Ye Hai Mohabbatein is the daily serial telecasted on Star plus under Ekta Kapur"s production house Balaji Telefilms which is based on Manju Kapur"s fifth novel Custody. Pranayam is a daily soap opera telecasted on Asianet under Sree Saran Productions which is based on Manju Kapur"s fifth novel Custody.
