He wrote famous plays for Pakistan Television and, after migration to Britain, entered journalism. Besides his social political activism, Mansoor Afaq is also a novelist, short story writer, drama director and executive director of Society of Culture and Heritage, United Kingdom. Mansoor Afaq is a considerable film critique as well. He has been a film and television program columnist for Daily Jang, Nawa-i-Waqt over a long period of time.
He has delivered lectures for East Film Academy under the flag of Society of Culture and Heritage.
He has written a book "A shot of butterfly" in Urdu language. He received education at the Government College Mianwali.

He is a Pakistani urdu poet. In the year 1999 he migrated to Britain. In April 2005, Mansoor Afaq"s work was published by Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi. Before this, five books of Mansoor Afaq, Chahra Numa (Urdu Articles) – 1984, Afaq Numa (Urdu Poetry) – 1986, Saraiki Grammer - 1988, Mein Wo Aur Ata ul Haq Qasmi -1994 and Gul Pasha -1996 was published. And Seven Urdu Drama serial, Nimaksar- 1990 PTV, Zameen, Pani Par Bunyad, - 1991 PTV, Pathar,- 1992/93 NTM and Zee London, Soya Hua Shehar - 1993 PTV, Dunya,- 1994 PTV, Dhan Koat (Urdu Drama serial) - 1998 was released.
