Artist, Paris, 1960-1970. Assistant director to director Tel Aviv Museum, 1971-1973, director, chief curator, 1977-1986, director, 1986-1990. Director Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem.

1990-1991, Ludwig Museum, Cologne, 1991.

Curator Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Artistic advisor to Mayor of Jerusalem, 1973-1976.
