Russian passed through all youth teams of and finally got in 2004 a roster spot in the senior team In the 2004-2005 season, his team was promoted to the Fußball-Bundesliga. The tall central defender had only three appearances but left good impressions at the indoor tournaments (Futsal-like tournaments to gap the Bundesliga winter break).
