My team of 15 people provided the Department of 450 employees with Payroll, Personnel, Budgeting, Financial Tracking, Project Accounting, Utility Accounting, IT support and all Special Projects. In addition I was active for 25 years in my Facilities Management Association APPA.

Margaret (Maggie) was born on June 29th, 1947. She married for the first time at age 19 and moved to Hawaii, where she lived for four years. From there she moved to Virginia and then Sardinia, Italy. Once divorced, she came back to Maryland to work and complete her education. She met her second husband in 1985. She was married for 26 years until John died of lung cancer. Her third husband, she met and married while living in a retirement community. After six years, her third husband passed from the Corono virus.
Education
Maggie was a straight A student in school and began her advanced education at the University of Maryland College Park. This venture was interrupted by her first marriage which lasted 13 years. She went back to school and finished up an undergraduate degree in Business Managment in 1985 from UMCP. Then six years later she returned and completed an Executive Masters of General Administration from UMCP, University College.
Career
I retired from University of Maryland Baltimore campus after 30 years of service. I was Director for Business within the Facilities Managment Department. My team of 15 people supported a department of 450 employees and a $45 million dollar annual budget providing payroll, personnel, budgeting, financial tracking, utility management, project accounting, IT support and special projects.
