Margaret Louise Skourlis, Mississippi New Jersey United States 2009 & 2010, was born as a Greek-American on Saturday, March 14, 1981.
Education
Margaret Louise Skourlis graduated the top of her Master of Business Administration Class with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors in 2010. Her various degrees include: Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Master in Political Science, American Bar Association Paralegal Certification, and Master of Business Administration from Long Island University C. West. Post Campus. She has studied abroad and completed the Doctorate.I.A.S. International program twice.
Career
When she was 20, she entered the “Mission Greek Independence Pageant”. In addition, she participated in several other pageants including: “Mission Theartemis 2001” in Crete, Greece. “Mission A.H.E.P.A. 2005 & 2006” in New York, and “Mission Southern New York”, which was cancelled in the middle of the pageant due to severe weather conditions.
In 2009 & 2010, she competed and became Mississippi
New Jersey United States 2009 & 2010 with a platform to raise awareness of Multiple sclerosis for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In the recent turn of events, she was honored to be granted as the new 2011 Pageant Director for the Mississippi
New Jersey United States Pageant and Mississippi New York United States Pageant.
She ran the Crowning Dream beauty pageant and was the New York pageant state director to Mission New York United States 2011, Bianca Pappas.
She was the President of the Pygmalion Maids of Athena Chapter #126 for American Hellenic al Progressive Association in 2006. She was involved with the Omospondia Federation, in the Archdiocese Oratorical Contest, and attended the Pan Cretan Convention.
Membership
She is a member of the Hellenic Kyklos Society. She is a member of the Daughters of Penelope for A.H.E.P.A. She has done Greek charity events for the The Greek Children"s Fund and was a member of GOYA.
