Career
Member of the Royal Asiatic Society. Visited Sinai six times. In 1892 assisted her sister, Mistress
Lewis, to photograph the famous Syriac palimpsest of the Gospels.
In 1896 they brought to England the first leaf of the Hebrew Ecclesiasticus. They also gave the site for Westminster Theological College, Cambridge, and laid its memorial stone 25 May 1897.
