• Achievements include research in variations in the soleus H-reflex as a function activation during controlled lengthening and shortening actions, voluntary activation of the plantar flexors during intermittent maximal efforts. Research in plantar and dorsiflexor strength in prepubertal girls with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, conditioning ia-afferent stimulation reduces the soleus H-reflex when muscle spindles are assumed to be inactive. Research in strength training effects of whole body vibration, central fatigue affects plantar flexor strength after prolonged running.
