1925 helped organize and run “Prokoll” group of young composers, formed by students from Faculty of Composition, Moscow Conservatory. Late 1920's composed vocal cycles devoted to Revolution. 1929-1931 member, Russ.Assoc, of Proletarian Musicians (“Ramp*’).
