Career
From Foxford, County Mayo, she is a lecturer in communications at Dublin City University (DCU). She has frequently appeared as a panellist on Tonight with Vincent Browne on TV3, and as a reporter on the the Pat Kenny Show on RTÉ Radio 1. In May 2011, she was nominated by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to the 24th Seanad.
