Princess Marie of Liechtenstein is the wife of Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein.

The Princess’ primary interests concern the social institutions of her country and all issues of Education, Culture and the Arts.

She has undertaken numerous foreign trips to represent Liechtenstein abroad and takes an interest in all things related to her country, from politics and economics to cultural and sporting events.

Education

In 1957 Princess Marie spent an extended period in England to improve her English language skills. She then moved to Paris to perfect her French, before returning for the last time to Germany.

In 1965 she became engaged to Hereditary Prince Hans-Adam of Liechtenstein, a distant cousin of hers. Prince Hans-Adam II and Princess Marie were married in Vaduz on 30 July 1967 and had four children.
