She is mostly remembered for her contribution to the organisation debate, “Party and Organisation” in which she shows the limits of both the Platform and the Synthesis. She contributed many articles in Russian, English, French and Yiddish anarchist publications. She also translated Kropotkin"s Ethics.
The letters she received from Kropotkin between 1897 and 1917 have been published.
In 1928, she was the secretary of the Ukrainian anarchist Nestor Makhno, during his exile in France. She lived with her mother in a flat that became a regular meeting place for Russian anarchists in Paris.
When her mother died, she committed suicide.
