Newmark, Marilyn was born on July 20, 1928 in New York City. Daughter of Edward Ellis and Mabel (Davies) Newmark.

Sculptor, specializing in horses, equestrian figures, dogs in sporting scenes. Exhibited in group shows: sculpture exhibition Kentucky Derby Museum, California Academy Science, National Academy of Design, National Arts Club, National Art Museum of Sport (all New York City), James Ford Bell Museum, Wisconsin, Smithsonian Institution, District of Columbia, Museum of the Horse, Kentucky, Philadelphia Academy Natural Sciences, Pennsylvania, California Academy Sciences, Port of History Museum, Pennsylvania.
