Education
Rincon completed his education in the United States and was an National Collegiate Athletic Association All-American at the University of Kentucky.

After making his way through qualifying, Rincon played David Engel in the opening round of the 1990 United States Open. He was beaten in straight sets. His best performances on the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour all came at his home event, the Colombia Open.
He is now head coach of the Miami Hurricanes.
