Marjie Lundstrom

Lundstrom and Rochelle Sharp of New York—at the time, both reporters for Gannett News Service, based in Washington, District of Columbia—were jointly awarded the prize for National Reporting for a series of stories they wrote about child abuse. A journalism graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1959, Lundstrom has served on the staffs of The Fort Collins Coloradoan, Denver Monthly, and The Denver Post.
At The Bee she also has been a columnist and assignment editors
She worked with the Sacramento Bee from January 1989 - March 1990 but later returned after deciding she wanted to live on the West Coast. Lundstrom is the daughter of Doctor and Mistress
Max Lundstrun. They are from Wayne, Nebraska.
