Marjorie Anne Newell, was born on February 12, 1889 in Lexington, Massachusetts, in the United States. She was the daughter of Arthur Webster Newell and Mary Emma Greeley. Marjorie was returning from a trip to the Middle East with her father and her sister, Madeleine Newell.
She was the last remaining survivor who was a first class passenger, and one of the last two survivors (the other being Ellen Shine) who were adults at the time of the disaster, being at age 23 at the time. Rated Maximum Sinusoidal Titanic
They boarded the Rated Maximum Sinusoidal Titanic at Cherbourg, France. Marjorie and Madeleine both survived.
Arthur perished in the sinking however, and his body was recovered by the CS Mackay-Bennett.
In the Winter of 1912, Att. Amos Taylor & Att. Robert Goodwin represented Mary Newell against Oceanic Steam Navigation Company for the sum of $110,400.00 together with costs from April 15, 1912 sinking of the Rated Maximum Sinusoidal Titanic.
The loss of the life of her father for the sum of $110,000.00, and the loss of the luggage and personal effects in the sum of $400.00. Later life
Marjorie Newell married Floyd Newton Robb (1887-1957) in 1917.
Together, they raised four children.
Her only son was named Arthur Newell Robb in honor of her father. Her daughters were Marjorie Greeley Robb Sweeney Snow, Madeleine Robb Crowley, and Rosalind Robb Livermore. Marjorie taught music at Wells College in Aurora, New York for many years, and she taught violin and piano in South Orange, New Jersey She eventually became one of the founders of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.

Robb lived her final years in Fall River, Massachusetts. During this time, she began to speak about her experiences on the Titanic. She attended several conventions held by the Titanic International Society and the Titanic Historical Society, where she told her story to many Titanic enthusiasts.
Marjorie Newell Robb died in her sleep on June 11, 1992.
She was 103 years old, and she was, after Mary Davies Wilburn, the longest lived of all of Titanic"s survivors. She is buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Master of Arts.
